Reading as much good stuff as I can, and sometimes the not as good just to see ...
I almost always do some form of Through the Bible in a Year every year, and when the 2011 400th anniversary of the King James Bible came up, I made a point of reading with that version throughout the anniversary year. I had hoped to have this wonderful Cambridge black goatskin bound edition for that reading but Cambridge kept delaying the release. I finally got this incredibly beautiful edition in 2012 and decided to use it for my 2013 year. It is just the right size for a real reader without being too small, even though the delightful format is paragraphed with nicely wide margins where the printed notes go and where you can take notes -- though I am not much for note-taking in a Bible paper environment.
At any rate, I love this edition and the "older language" is no threat to me as I have a background in Anglo-Saxon and Middle English, making this seem modern.
